A focus on details
Mobile houses technical details
coodo houses are easy to transport. A standard container truck is used and a common mobile crane (100t capacity), or even a forklift (for small coodos) can be used. Depending on the coodo model, loading and unloading takes from a few minutes, up to no more than a couple of hours. coodo houses are mainly transported in standard shipping containers and are rather quickly assembled on location. Relocation of the coodos after assembly, is done the same way.
High quality materials are used to catch the eye of even the most demanding customer. All insulation exceeds the standard requirements of all countries. We are using high-tech insulation materials, to achieve best insulation results. A thermal resistance more than 4.5 m2K/W is achieved, to assure insulation for even the most demanding environment. According to BS EN 13501-1 standard for fire safety, all materials are classified as Euroclass A1.
All coodo houses are environmentally friendly and resource efficient. Among other things, we are using passive and active housing standards as design and building guides, as well. Almost all of our material is recyclable (only a small percent still remains). We are constantly researching new technology methods and are including them in the design, so our houses remain optimized and technologically up-to-date. Our main goal is : 100% self sustainability and zero environmental pollution. Self sustainable units (SSU’s) are already developing and will assure total independence. Solar cells, electric generators and small wind turbines will soon be available to order.
Almost all electrical devices are connected to a wireless smart system and can be operated through a mobile phone or a tablet. Some of this special equipment includes : camera, movement sensor, temperature sensor, open door/windows sensor, smoke detector, etc. The most outstanding features are:
We prepare a binding offer, where all prices and services are listed. That way you can be sure that the offered price is equal to the final price.
A coodo can be installed almost anywhere, provided there is enough space for the truck and crane that deliver the coodo, and appropriate foundations in place. A prior inspection of the property and its access may be required. A crane with a minimum lift of 60 tons is needed, depending on the size of the unit.
In the production of our coodos, we utilize high-quality, certified materials that are highly recyclable and ecenomically friendly, hypoallergenic and pollutant-free.
In case you want a turn-key experience and have us handle all the preparations, we will be happy to draw up a separate service agreement to incorporate your expectations and the additional work.
The coodo glazing is rated “anti-burglar glazing”. The fronts are tripple glazed and very safe. The doors are built of very stable aluminum frames. Futhermore the coodo can be secured with an alarm system.
The installed triple glazed windows have a very low heat transmission ratio of only 0.8W/m²K.
coodos sold in Europe are primarily produced in the Germany.
Our watercoodo “houseboat” model comes with a custom built ponton that is included in the listing price, and can be delivered ready for launching.
We are currently developing a leasing option to offer our customers. Please check our NEWS section for updates on this.
The need and type of foundation depends on the plot where the coodo shall be installed. On a surface of concrete, asphalt, natural bedrock or similar, there may be no need for additional support. In cases of softer surfaces, geological testing should be done to determine the necessary support, like concrete strips, casons, stilts or point-foundations.
The outer walls have a thickness of 25 cm.
An existing infrastructure on the property is helpful so the coodo can be connected via plug & play to the existing pipes/cables. If it´s not existent, our SSU (Self Sustainable Unit) is an extra option: Will be ready autumn 2017 and contains everything you’ll need if not connected like in the desert, on a mountain etc..
Directly connected to your coodo: electric energy provided through solar panels (on the roof) with batteries and optional small wind turbines + large tanks for clean, grey and waste waters, which can come with a transformer of organic residues in compost.
